The Hollies Tea Gardens and Vinery

Built in 1788 as a private home and still used as such, The Hollies is located at the centre of the village. It opened as a Tea Garden and Vinery in 1820 and you can still pick your own grapes and leave a donation which is passed on to a local children’s charity.

Woods Kitchen

Woods Kitchen opened for business on Godshill High Street in August 2018. Three years earlier, Teri Wood handed over the running of what was then The Essex to others, lured away by other activities.

Teri decided that she just had to return and The Essex was given a huge facelift and became Woods Kitchen. The expansive dining room and tiered garden behind have much character and a lovely new feel.
